Insights on the SuperNote

Today, I am going to give my insights on one of my most valuable writing tools. A writing tablet called SuperNote.

Why the SuperNote?

A many years ago, I discovered that for the first draft writing process, my brain needs things to be handwritten. When I try to draft a novel on the computer, it goes so slow and clunky. So I would hand write my first drafts and any new story ideas I got.

Which meant we had all the notebooks. So many notebooks. Scattered all over our house. I was constantly trying to figure out which notebook I wrote in for which story.

One day, after watching me search every single notebook in the house for my notes on a story I was planning on starting, my husband decided I needed a tablet. But not just any tablet, I needed something I could write in like a notebook.

So for my birthday, he gave me a tablet called the SuperNote. Check it out here.

What’s Great about the SuperNote?

Here’s what I love about it. The writing feels really smooth. It tricks my brain into thinking I am writing in a notebook! I’ve written at least two first drafts in it and it’s gone perfect.

It takes up less space than a notebook. This makes it great for writing on the go. Or while cuddling a baby. I love that I don’t have to turn the pages of my notebook.

It keeps all my notes and drafts in one place. It’s very easy to keep things organized.

It also has a feature that allows you to convert handwritten text to typed, but I haven’t used that yet. I just type up what I have hand written after every chapter.

The only downside to it is the pen doesn’t stay attached very well and will fall out often. But other than that, it’s by far the best writing tool I’ve ever gotten.

What are your go to writing tools?
