This month’s writing update is an exciting one and an end to an era. I am putting the finishing touches on the third book in my Mage Bond Trilogy. It will be available on amazon soon. This book series has been a part of my life since 2011. I have known these characters longer than I have known my husband.

What I Learned
I have learned and grown so much with this series. First, I learned how to get a first draft out in a quick and efficient manner. Prior to this series, books took me so long to write. Too long. The best piece of writing advice I can give a brand new writer is just write it. Don’t waffle on names or try to fix it as you go. Just get the words out.
I learned how to work with an editor and cover designer with this series.
I learned formatting and how to look at my own work with a more critical eye.
I learned to be bold and publish, even if it isn’t perfect, even if you’re scared.
Great end to an era.
